Thion

Franco La Russa (aka Thion) is an Italian multimedia artist based in London. Trained in Fine Art, Advertising, and Graphic Design in Italy, he worked as an Art Director and Illustrator for major agencies before shifting to a personal, concept-driven practice. Drawing from Pop Art roots, Thion blends traditional techniques with digital media—especially iPad-based work—to explore fluid, evolving forms. His process is intuitive, experimental, and open to the unexpected, spanning drawing, sculpture, and time-based installation.
